Softball Recap: Fairfax Takes a Loss

Fairfax was the 7-6 winner over Robinson when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell just short of the Rams by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Katelyn Huang was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season.

Fairfax has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Robinson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Fairfax will face off against rival West Potomac at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Robinson is set to square off against their familiar foe South County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
