Football Game Preview: Manning Monarchs vs. Kingstree Blazers

Manning has gone a perfect 3-0 against Kingstree recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Monarchs will be playing at home against the Blazers at 7:30 p.m.

Manning had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least 31 points, but East Clarendon put an end to it on Friday. The Monarchs took a hard 26-12 fall against the Wolverines. The game marked the Monarchs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Kingstree won against Marion last Friday with 22 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Blazers managed a 22-18 win over Lake City. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blazers.

The victory got Kingstree back to even at 3-3. As for Manning, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Manning didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Kingstree in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 28-22 win. Will the Monarchs repeat their success, or do the Blazers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
