Volleyball Recap: Jacobs Gets the Win

Jacobs saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Ridgewood Rebels by a score of 2-0.

Maddie Mitchell paced Jacobs' offense, picking up eight kills. Mitchell got some help from Gianna Coletti and her 22 assists. Coletti was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Jacobs now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Ridgewood, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 19-1.

Coincidentally, Jacobs and Ridgewood will both be playing Aurora Central Catholic the next time they take the court. The Golden Eagles will head out to face the Chargers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Rebels will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
