Soccer Game Preview: Gloucester vs. Menchville

Gloucester is 0-9-1 against Menchville since April of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Dukes will head out to take on the Monarchs at 4:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Gloucester comes in on nine and Menchville on four.

Gloucester's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past King William 9-0. It was an even better day for Gavin Blanks as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Menchville got the win against Heritage on Thursday by a conclusive 8-0. Menchville might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by three goals or more this season.

Gloucester pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those six contests. As for Menchville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
