Sulphur entered their tilt with New Iberia on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 35-23 victory over the New Iberia Yellowjackets. The Golden Tors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellowjackets, too.

Sulphur pushed their record up to 23-3 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.7 points over those games. As for New Iberia, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sulphur will challenge Southside at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Iberia, they will face off against Barbe at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
