Baseball Game Preview: Lighthouse Christian Chargers vs. Seymour Tigers

The Lighthouse Christian Chargers will take on the Seymour Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lighthouse Christian has given up an average of 7.1 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lighthouse Christian easily dispatched Varsity Opponent on Saturday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Lighthouse Christian fell just short of Bolivar by a score of 13-11 on Wednesday.

Braden Wright made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Paxton Bridges, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last match, Seymour made sure to put some runs up on the board against Crane on Monday. Seymour was the clear victor by a 15-5 margin over Crane.

Lighthouse Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Seymour, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Lighthouse Christian might still be hurting after the 14-4 defeat they got from Seymour in their previous matchup back in April of 2022. Can Lighthouse Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
