The biggest upset of the week belonged to Morton, who defeated 287th ranked East Peoria, 36-14.
Chase Poole and Cole Henderson provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Dunlap. The longest such play in Mid-Illini this season, the connection resulted in 79 yards.
Pekin's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Poole threw for 221 and 1 touchdown and Henderson had 154 yards receiving. On the ground Sebastian Fuller chipped in 32 yards. Matt McClanahan helped Pekin's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 38 yards.
Fuller was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 32 yards on 18 carries as the Dragons defeated the Eagles. Henderson also contributed to the rushing game with 24 yards on the ground.
Washington extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Canton, 53-28. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Panthers.
