Riverside came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 49 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 55-7 victory over the Carbondale Area Chargers. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chargers, too.

Riverside's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Carbondale Area, they dropped their record down to 4-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
