Basketball Recap: Wamogo Regional Warriors vs. Litchfield Cowboys
The Wamogo Regional Warriors won the last time they faced the Litchfield Cowboys, and things went their way on Thursday too. Wamogo Regional slipped by the Cowboys 54-53. The win made it back-to-back wins for Wamogo Regional.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wamogo Regional to victory, but perhaps none more so than Patrick Weaving, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Quinn Coffey was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Wamogo Regional has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Litchfield, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Wamogo Regional will head out on the road to challenge the Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Litchfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
