Basketball Recap: Pennsauken Tech Takes a Loss

Pennsauken Tech lost against Schalick back in January of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Pennsauken Tech were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to the Schalick Cougars.

When it comes to explaining why Pennsauken Tech lost, don't look at Omari Spencer. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. That was a full 37.8% of Pennsauken Tech's points, marking the third time in a row Spencer has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Tyrone Baker, who scored nine points and five rebounds.

Even though they lost, Pennsauken Tech smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since the start of last season.

Pennsauken Tech's record now sits at 12-12. As for Schalick, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-14.
