Basketball Recap: Tussey Mountain Gets the Win

Tussey Mountain won the last time they faced Southern Fulton and things went their way on Saturday too. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Tussey Mountain Titans made off with a 33-32 win over the Southern Fulton Indians.

Southern Fulton's loss came despite strong showings from Teagan Ritz and Sam Stotler. Ritz dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards, while Stotler posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Gaven Mellott, who put up six points.

Tussey Mountain pushed their record up to 3-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.9 points per game. As for Southern Fulton, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
