Baseball Game Preview: Atlantic Coast Stingrays vs. Creekside Knights

Atlantic Coast is 1-9 against Creekside since March of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Atlantic Coast Stingrays will look to defend their home field against the Creekside Knights at 6:30 p.m.

Things were looking good for Atlantic Coast after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 9-8 to Baldwin, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Noah Prudencio made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Anthony Selejan was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Creekside had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They had just enough and edged Providence School out 2-1.

Creekside saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Balazic, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Balazic has posted since back in March of 2024.
