Basketball Recap: Central Academy Cougars vs. Anson Bearcats
Central Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a blow against the Anson Bearcats, falling 79-51. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 91-41 on January 3rd.
When it comes to explaining why Central Academy lost, don't look at Mike Hoff. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 29 points and nine rebounds. Aman Gandhi was another key player, putting up three points and three steals.
Leading Anson to victory were Jayden Little and Taviane Robinson. Little went 8 for 16 en route to 24 points in addition to six boards and four steals, while Robinson almost dropped a triple-double on 11 points, 11 rebounds, and nine blocks.
