If Fountain Valley was feeling good fresh off their 17-2 takedown of Corona del Mar last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Barons came up short against the Los Alamitos Griffins on Tuesday, falling 10-1. The Barons' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Fountain Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lola McCliman, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Fountain Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Los Alamitos, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Fountain Valley nor Los Alamitos have any future games scheduled.
