Basketball Recap: Sidney Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sidney can now relate to. They were dealt a 59-30 defeat at the hands of the Fergus Golden Eagles on Tuesday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Sidney's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Fergus, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Coming up, Sidney will square off against Custer County at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fergus, they will host Havre at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
