Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverdale). They put the hurt on the Mt. Zion Bulldogs with a sharp 74-53 win on Tuesday. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Riverdale's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaylen Allen, who went 9 of 17 to rack up 23 points. That's the most points Allen has posted since back in November of 2024. Tre Smith also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
