Baseball Recap: Destiny Christian Takes a Loss

Destiny Christian entered their contest against Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wildcats took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Robert Rose was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for Destiny Christian: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Racyn Hyden, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Destiny Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Destiny Christian will challenge Depew at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
