Oxford is 8-2 against Bartlett since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pirates will face off against the Indians at 3:30 p.m. Oxford is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Monday just wasn't the day for Oxford's offense. They lost 11-0 to Auburn on Monday.

Bartlett never got on the board in their matchup on Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Southbridge on Monday. They blew past the Pioneers 10-2. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Kole Sebastyanski made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Adam Phillips was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Luigi Villegas, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Oxford's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Bartlett, their record is now 8-6.

Oxford beat Bartlett 5-0 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
