Basketball Recap: Logan County Takes a Loss

Logan County was the 52-28 winner over Todd County Central when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Logan County Cougars took a 50-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Todd County Central Rebels. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Todd County Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alexis Taylor, who went 7 for 9 en route to 21 points. Another player making a difference was JaMya Kay, who posted 17 points and five rebounds.

Logan County's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Todd County Central, their record now sits at 13-10.

Coming up, Logan County and Bowling Green will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Todd County Central, they will face off against Franklin-Simpson at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing isn't great for Todd County Central: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Franklin-Simpson has snatched up eight consecutive wins on the road.
