Soccer Recap: Waltham Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Waltham's offense. They fell just short of the Bedford Buccaneers by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The shutout was out of character for Waltham seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Waltham's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1-3 and their overall record down to 4-2-6. As for Bedford, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Waltham will challenge rival Concord-Carlisle at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bedford is set to square off against their familiar foe Weston at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
