Softball Recap: Bob Jones Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Bob Jones's offense. They came up short against the James Clemens Jets on Tuesday, falling 8-0. Patriots fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Jets since on Tuesday.

Bob Jones has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-20 record this season. As for James Clemens, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-14-1 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bob Jones will be taking part in a tournament against Mountain Brook at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for James Clemens, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Falkville at 4:30 p.m.
