Soccer Recap: Dekaney Comes Up Short

Dekaney lost to MacArthur back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats lost 6-1 to the Generals. While losing is never fun, Dekaney can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 647th, while MacArthur are ranked 319th).

Dekaney now has a losing record of 11-12-1. As for MacArthur, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Dekaney does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for MacArthur, they will head out on the road to face off against Benjamin Davis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
