Basketball Recap: Mineral Wells Takes a Loss

Mineral Wells lost against Brock back in December of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mineral Wells Rams were dealt a 73-32 defeat at the hands of the Brock Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1222nd, while the Eagles are ranked 206th).

Mineral Wells has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-22 record this season. As for Brock, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-8.

Mineral Wells will host Glen Rose at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glen Rose will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mineral Wells surely won't give up without a fight. As for Brock, they will venture away from home to challenge Graham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brock has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 226 points over their last three games.
