Volleyball Recap: Leland Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Leland and Earlville squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Leland had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Red Raiders by a score of 2-1. The Panthers have struggled against the Red Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Earlville found their leader in sophomore Elizabeth Vazquez, who had 14 digs and two assists. Vazquez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Leland's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Earlville, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-12.

Leland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Earlville, they will square off against Aurora Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
