Volleyball Recap: Ripon Comes Up Short

Ripon lost against Wautoma last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets.

While Ripon ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20.

Ripon has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-21 record this season. As for Wautoma, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 17-14.

Ripon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Berlin on the 18th. As for Wautoma, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Mauston on the 18th.
