Pickerington Central entered their tilt with Lancaster on Wednesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on the Golden Gales with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win back in September.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14, 25-21.

Lachele Nicholas paced Pickerington Central's offense, picking up 11 kills. Nicholas got some help from Madison Lyons and her 35 assists. Lyons was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Pickerington Central's victory bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Lancaster, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-14.

Looking ahead, Pickerington Central will be taking part in a tournament against Hilliard Bradley at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lancaster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
