Baseball Recap: South Plantation Paladins vs. Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes
After losing to Pompano Beach the last time they met, South Plantation decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The South Plantation Paladins came out on top against the Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes by a score of 5-1 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Paladins.
Mark Aschenbrenner was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-2. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Andrew Gollan, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
