Volleyball Game Preview: Revere Patriots vs. Malden Golden Tornados

The Revere Patriots will face off against the Malden Golden Tornados at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Revere will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Revere had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Chelsea on Wednesday. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Red Devils.

While Revere won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-22, 25-14.

Meanwhile, after a string of 12 wins, Malden's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 3-1 to Arlington.

Malden started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-12, 25-20, 25-19.

Malden's defeat dropped their record down to 13-2. As for Revere, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
