While Boise's victory against Lake City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Brave won by a set and slipped past the Timberwolves 3-2. The Brave haven't had any issues with the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Boise's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kylie Wong led the charge by getting eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces Wong has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Katelyn Huck, who had 12 digs and three assists.

They weren't the only good servers: Boise was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive matchups.

Boise's victory bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Lake City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Boise wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Coeur d'Alene on the 4th. Lake City has also already played their next matchup (against Melba), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
