Softball Recap: Burlington Takes a Loss

Burlington lost against Wilmington back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Devils fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 5-4.

Burlington has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Wilmington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Burlington will take on rival Stoneham at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wilmington is set to challenge their familiar foe Wakefield Memorial at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
