Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Irondale). They put the hurt on the Park Wolfpack with a sharp 9-1 win on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Irondale's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Park, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Irondale will challenge Cretin-Derham Hall at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Park, they will take on Mounds View at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Wolfpack's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
