Salem Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Colton Vikings 20-14. Considering Salem Academy has won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
For Colton's part, Katelynn Kimsey was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Chayse Smith, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
