Volleyball Recap: Watertown Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Lincoln

Watertown faced Lincoln in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Arrows came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Arrows have suffered since September 16th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-21.

Lincoln can attribute much of their success to Julia Blom, who had 15 digs. Blom has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

The defeat snapped Watertown's winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 12-7 record. As for Lincoln, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
