Howland came out on top against Canfield on Monday thanks in part to Steven Bubon's efforts. Bubon wasn't messing around, pitching 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. The pitching appearance was his fourth straight with two or fewer walks.

Bubon's strong effort led Howland over Canfield and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 133 places lower in Ohio), but they're not letting that get them down.
