Baseball Recap: Greenhill Drops Highest Score of Season Against Trinity Leadership

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greenhill). They blew past the Trinity Leadership Tigers 15-3 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Andrew Hough made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Hough was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI.

In other batting news, Sean Millimet was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season. Jack Stone was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Greenhill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .760. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win made it two in a row for Greenhill and bumps their season record up to 5-9. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Trinity Leadership, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6-1.

Greenhill has already played their next contest (against Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Trinity Leadership, they will head out to take on Red Oak at 2:00 p.m. on March 22nd.
