Softball Recap: Drummond Comes Up Short

Drummond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Augusta Beavers, falling 15-1.

Drummond's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Augusta, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Drummond will challenge Mellen at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lumberjacks will need to watch out since the Granite Diggers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Augusta, they will take on Melrose-Mindoro at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Beavers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
