Softball Recap: Franklinton's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southern Nash, Franklinton was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 10-5 win over the Northern Nash Knights. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 15-8 win on April 4th.

The team relied heavily on Madison Peebles, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Kaylei Main was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Franklinton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Franklinton's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-7. As for Northern Nash, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Franklinton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-0 loss against Southern Nash on the 29th. Northern Nash does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
