Basketball Game Preview: Saranac Redhawks vs. Perry Ramblers

Saranac is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Perry a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Saranac Redhawks will welcome the Perry Ramblers at 7:00 p.m. Saranac will be strutting in after a victory while Perry will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Saranac turned things around against Fulton on Monday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 50-49 win over the Pirates.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 64-12, which was the final score in Perry's tilt against Pewamo-Westphalia on Wednesday. The contest marked the Ramblers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The victory got Saranac back to even at 5-5. As for Perry, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Saranac was able to grind out a solid win over Perry in their previous meeting back in December of 2025, winning 50-41. Will the Redhawks repeat their success, or do the Ramblers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
