Softball Recap: Princeton Takes a Loss

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 17-0 to the Allen Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 back in March.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18-1. As for Allen, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-13-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Princeton and Allen will both be playing Plano West the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Wolves at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
