King Philip Regional had to endure a four-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Oliver Ames Tigers 59-57. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 56-46 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory got King Philip Regional back to even at 1-1. As for Oliver Ames, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

King Philip Regional will take on Franklin in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Oliver Ames and Walpole will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on December 27th.
