Softball Recap: Modesto Comes Up Short

Modesto lost against Enochs back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers came up short against the Eagles, falling 21-5. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aaliyah Williams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Modesto's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Enochs, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Modesto wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-1 victory against Downey on the 8th. As for Enochs, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Pitman on the 8th.
