Game recap: Wayne Trace High School Football Team takes down Ada

ADA, Ohio - Colby Spiece threw for eight touchdowns as Wayne Trace (Haviland, Ohio) bested Ada (Ohio) 68-14 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a Spiece touchdown run in the first quarter, the Raiders were up 50-8 at the half.

Wayne Trace expanded its lead to 54 points entering the fourth quarter. WT scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Spiece to Jake Gerber.

Spiece and Gerber teamed up to form a dynamic passing combination. Gerber caught three touchdowns and Spiece threw eight. Gerber has now caught three touchdowns this season, while Spiece has thrown eight.



The Haviland school came into the game allowing 13.2 points per game.

The loss comes after Ada defeated Crestview 35-0 last week. The loss broke Ada's two-game winning streak.
