Trinity fell victim to Lancaster Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 1-0. The Shamrocks' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Liam Sexton was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

At the plate, Trinity saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Garreth Calder, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Lancaster Catholic, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will face off against East Pennsboro at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Shamrocks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lancaster Catholic, they will take on Columbia at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
