Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Coahoma

Coahoma waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Colorado Wolves. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Coahoma was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-11, 23-25, 25-14.

Coahoma's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bree Lewis led the charge by getting 17 kills, five digs, and three blocks. Lewis is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 15 games she's played. Madi Renteria was another key player, getting 14 kills, nine digs, and four blocks.

Coahoma's record is now 17-7-1. As for Colorado, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.

Coahoma has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Wink on the 20th. Colorado has also already played their next game (against Bangs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
