Basketball Recap: Orange Lutheran Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Orange Lutheran, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They strolled past the Hesperia Scorpions with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 65-50. While the Lancers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Orange Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Hesperia, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Orange Lutheran will venture away from home to take on St. John Bosco at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in St. John Bosco's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Hesperia, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-54 defeat against Foothill on the 17th.
