Basketball Recap: Bruce Comes Up Short

Bruce was the 71-43 winner over Gilman when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Bruce Red Raiders took a 75-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gilman Pirates on Friday.

Bruce's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Gilman, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Bruce will face off against Northwood at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Bruce is facing Northwood at the right time seeing as Northwood is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Gilman, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Cornell at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
