Soccer Recap: Cardinal O'Hara Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Cardinal O'Hara was not quite Charter School for Applied Tech's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell 4-2 to the Eagles.

Marissa Planck and Bianca Wani scored both of Cardinal O'Hara's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Cardinal O'Hara's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Charter School for Applied Tech, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Cardinal O'Hara will be playing at home against Mount Mercy Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Mercy Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Cardinal O'Hara surely won't give up without a fight. Charter School for Applied Tech will be paying especially close attention to Cardinal O'Hara's matchup: after Cardinal O'Hara faces off against Buffalo Seminary, they'll take on Charter School for Applied Tech again at 5:00 p.m. on October 3.
