Seymour had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the West De Pere Phantoms. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory on Saturday.

Xavier Salzman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

Salzman wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Cayden Staffeldt, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Seymour's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2.
