Basketball Recap: Granada Skates Past Primero with Ease

There's no place like home for Granada, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They really took it to the Primero Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-20 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bobcats considering their 24-point performance the matchup before.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Granada to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dayzriana Quintana, who shot 40% from the field to rack up 16 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Granada is 10-5 when Quintana posts three or more steals, but 3-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Kinsley Williams, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards.

Granada was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Granada's record now sits at 13-9. As for Primero, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-14.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Bobcats duke it out with the Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Primero does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
