Seeger came up into this matchup off a tough 27-point defeat last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the South Vermillion Wildcats by a score of 74-72 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 48-42 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jack Cole, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Cooksey, who went 6 for 9 en route to 12 points and five boards.

Wallace continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. This is the second loss in a row for Seeger and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for South Vermillion, the win also got them back to even at 5-5.

Seeger will head out to challenge Southmont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Seeger is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.4 points per game this season. South Vermillion has already played their next matchup, a 58-43 defeat against Terre Haute North Vigo on the 13th.
